Robert W. McGrath, has more than three decades of senior public relations leadership, providing strategic communications, crisis management, investor relations and public affairs counsel to a wide range of real estate, financial, corporate and not-for-profit clients.

Mr. McGrath’s was most recently a senior leader in corporate communications for CBRE, a Fortune 500 company that is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. In that role he strategically managed internal and external crises and provided crucial public affairs direction on a wide range of real estate, financial, reputational, and enterprise challenges.  Mr. McGrath also served as the company’s primary spokesperson to the media, garnering extensive positive publicity for CBRE, facilitating positive press opportunities with including The New York Times, Pensions & Investment, Forbes, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business and numerous other media outlets.

Prior to his tenure at CBRE, he was a Senior Vice President at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, directing public relations and reputation management programs for major organizations including Credit Suisse First Boston, S. G. Cowen and the Archdiocese of New York. Previously Mr. McGrath was a managing partner at The Weiser Group, where he designed and implemented integrated communications programs for clients including Chase Manhattan, Deloitte and Touche, IBM, Liberty Property Trust and Options Clearing Corporation.

In addition, Mr. McGrath served in a number of senior communications positions at organizations including PriceWaterhouse and the Commodity Exchange. As Head of Communications at Covenant House, he designed and implemented a successful public relations effort that helped restore credibility to one of the nation’s largest privately funded child care agencies.

Mr. McGrath began his career in New York City working in a series of positions in city government, including Assistant Press Secretary for Mayor Edward I. Koch.
